My dad was the steward there

In the sixties.

I lived with my mam and dad in

The flat upstairs.

I worked behind the bar on an

Evening.

We had all the stars there.

I met my wife there who lived in

Amberly Green.

We married in 1967 in the church near Brambles Farm.

She was just 17 and I was 19..
